FAQ's
It can be scary walking into a gym for the first time. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible. The following FAQ's should hopefully put you at ease, however, if you have any further queries please get in touch.
How do I get into the building?
On your first session/class your trainer will be meet you at the door at the agreed time. From then on you will have a door entry code.
What do I wear?
You don't need the latest 'must-have' trainers/outfit, it's a workout not a fashion show. A pair of trainers, t-shirt/vest, leggings/joggers/shorts is all you need.
Do I need to bring anything?
A drinks bottle (water is suffice), gym towel/small hand towel and a padlock for the lockers. If you forget your padlock we have a couple of spares.
Where do I wait for my trainer?
As already mentioned, your trainer will meet you at the door on your first visit to the gym. From then on we have a waiting area upstairs with comfy sofas.
Do I need to have a certain fitness level before I can work with a trainer?
Absolutely not. A trainer builds a bespoke plan for you surrounding your current fitness levels, regardless of your starting point. All you need is to be cleared for exercise by your GP.
Will everyone look at me because I'm a beginner?
Honestly, no. Regardless of where you are at on your journey, everyone has the same goal, to improve themselves. Our ethos is that exercise is for all. Everyone is welcome. Intimidation of other clients will not be tolerated.
How much does it cost?
From £45. Costs will vary slightly between trainers and the number of sessions block booked.
How do I pay?
Sessions are paid directly, as agreed, with your specific personal trainer.
